Abstract
Objective:To study the value of loop electrosurgical excision procedure(LEEP)in the diagnosis and treatment of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN).Methods:Data of 104 CIN cases treated by LEEP were analyzed retrospectively.Operation time, bleeding volume, changes of cervical biopsy results and high-rickHPV(HHPV) before and after LEEP were analyzed. Results:The mean operative time of LEEP was 7.2 minutes. The mean bleeding volume was 15ml.The complete concordance rate of pathologic results under colposcope before operation and after LEEP was 74.0%.The negative rate of HHPV was 72.7%,66.7%and 63.6% in CIN I,CIN II and CIN III respectively after LEEP,but there was not a significant difference between any of the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion:LEEP can eliminate HHPV at the same time removal the cervical lesion,it is one of the effective and safe methods for the diagnosis and treatment of CIN.
