Abstract

In order to research genetic relationship and diversity in ancient germplasm in Ginkgo bilobafrom Shandong, seven pairs of primers with clear and good repeatability bands had been screened out from 20pairs of primers. The genetic relationship and diversity of 29ancient germplasm in G.biloba from Shandong were analyzed. The results showed that 7pairs of primers generated 34bands,in which there were 28polymorphic bands, and the percentage of polymorphic bands was 82.4%.Genetic similarity coefficients among ancient germplasm in G.biloba were from 0.53 to 0.95,and the germplasm were divided into five clusters when similarity coefficient was 0.78,the cluster of germplasm was not completely correspondent with their geographical regions. The genetic identity of Tai’an and Linyi populations was higher among the studied populations. The genetic diversity of non-island area was higher than that of island area.
