Abstract
Objective To compare the application of two-dimensional gray-scale blood flow imaging techniques( B-flow) and Color Doppler Flow Imaging( CDFI) in the carotid artery disease and to explore diagnostic value of B-flow in the carotid artery disease. Methods 100 cases with suspected carotid artery disease were performed CDFI and B-flow respectively check. Vascular contorts, shape, blood vessel wall and blood flow state, measurement of carotid stenosis were observed. In which 32 cases with carotid stenosis took digital subtraction angiography( DSA) inspection. Results B-flow performance in less than 0. 2cm in diameter small patches, vulnerable plaques, blood clots, complex blood flow and carotid artery contorts the anomaly detection were better than that of a CDFI. Carotid stenosis rate comparison between B-flow and CDFI showed statistically significant difference( P 0. 05). Conclusion B-flow in the diagnosis of carotid artery Small plaque, vulnerable plaques, blood clots, complex blood flow and artery contorts the anomaly has more accuracy and superiority than CDFI has.
