Abstract
Palmer's Cultural linguistics and cognitive linguistics are two newly emerged disciplines in the late period of the 20th century.This thesis analyzes how Palmer's cultural linguistics assimilates,modifies and readjusts cognitive linguistics and makes it core of its own cognitive study of language and culture in its theoretical research,which makes linguistic anthropologists examine language and culture from the dimension of cognitive science.
