Abstract
Xin Min Cong Bao was an important journal that introduced and propagated bourgeois ideology in modern China,it made a lot of contributions in grasping developing direction in Chinese modern culture and propelling the modern cultural development.Although Xin Min Cong Bao had much fault,it had brought the Western bourgeois theory and culture to the Chinese thought circles and initiated the new learning of Chinese bourgeoisie,it has very important status in Chinese modern cultural history.
