Abstract
Objective To compare the curative effect of acupuncture-moxibustion combined treatment with that of electroacupuncture on lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion.Methods The patients were randomly allocated to observation and control groups for comparative observation.Results The marked efficacy rate was 77.42% in the observation group and 50.00% in the control group; there was a statistically significant difference(P0.01). The total efficacy rate was 91.94% in the observation group and 90.74% in the control group; there was no statistically significant difference(P0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture-moxibustion combined treatment is better than electroacupuncture treatment.
