Abstract
This paper made a study of scour and silt laws in different operating periods of Bajiazui Reservoir,and analyzed the influence of different operational modes for sediment flushing on scouring and silting of reservoir.The result shows that,a) the reservoir has a severe sedimentation in impoundment period and the annual average sediment release ratio is only 0.043%;b) the reservoir still has a relatively serious sedimentation in the first natural flood detention operation period,in the second natural flood detention operation period,sedimentation amount of the reservoir is reduced greatly;c) sedimentation amount of the reservoir decreases significantly in the operation period of storing clear and releasing muddy,with the sediment release ratio between 62.6%-77.8%.
