Abstract
Most of Chinese part folksongs are scattered in Lingnan, where was the dwelling place of ancient Yue-people, among of them was West Yue-people, who lived in Lingxi where is now called as the north dialect region of Zhuang-language. The still prosperous, two-part songs in the north are the most archaic and natural phonic-carrier of Lingnan cultures. In this region, singers, singing, song' s impart-ment, song's arrangement, song's use and the song's naming, all of them have their own traditional proverbs, mnemonic rhyme and lingoes, which became a conventional folk oral theory and run from generation to generation. There is much academic and practical value to unscramble the theory and the forms of folk part music as well as to dig and create the music with Chinese features. The article also provides a way of folksong s study.
