Abstract
In Nansong Dynasty, the famous poet Lu You had formed his literary thoughts during his nine years in Sichuan. He inherited the traditional literary criticism on literary Dao and developed his own literary qualities. According to his creative practice, Lu You advocated that writers could absorb writing materials from reality. This article states and analyzes Lu You's literary criticism ideas from literary criticism theories, and points out its improvement and introspection towards traditional culture. Lu You's literary ideas were filled with active spirits of critical realism, which are of great significance to the study of modem literary criticism.
