Abstract
Globalization is the characteristic of modern times as well as environment for the development of Chinese traditional sports.On the basis of discussing the challenge and opportunity for Chinese traditional sports,the paper puts forward the development route as follows: strengthen the innovation of traditional sports, maintain culture idiosyncrasy,and extend Chinese traditional sports in virtue of Beijing Olympic Games.
