Analysis on the Concepts of Sports Globalization in China

The fact that current Chinese traditional sports are gradually replaced by the Western sports is not only the consequence of globalization,but the major content of globalization as well.However,the key precondition for Chinese sports to have a stand in the world is the cultural root assurance of its ethnic traditional sports and the approval and insistence of the sports' cultural diversity.Under the background of globalization,the system advantage characterized with a national-wide participation still plays an active role during the process of rapid economic development which brings the dynamic progress of Chinese sports.In a neutral and critical perspective,this paper presents a thorough and complete statement on the issue from the analysis and critiques on the contrast between sports localization and sports globalization,the crisis about the traditional sports order and the analysis and critiques on the contrast between market determinism and state.
