Abstract
Objective To discuss the CT features of inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor(IMT),and to improve its recognition. Methods Imaging data of four cases with IMT confirmed pathologically were analyzed retrospectively. Two cases were in lung, one in kidney and one in spleen. All cases were performed CT,among them, two cases received plain and enhanced CT,two cases received only plain CT.Results In two cases in lung, one lesion was smooth and another was irregular, one lesion showed line-like calcification and homogenous density without necrosis or cystic change. The two lesions were in kidney and spleen, which presented solid masses with flake calcifications with gradual and homogeneous enhancement. Conclusion Inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor is rare,CT can provide more helpful information for the clinical diagnosis.
