Abstract

Objective:To investigate the differences in CIK’ proliferation ability and antineoplastic effect in vitro between healthy adults and tumor patients. Methods:The CIK amplification ability and time-dependent tendency with culture continuing was tested by blood cell recording board; The CIK cytotoxicity was tested by MTT assays. Results:Compared with normal adults, tumor patients’ CIK proliferated more slowly and its max proliferation multiple is lower(P 0.01).Meanwhile,the proliferation ability was related to age(P 0.01).MTT assays showed that the cytotoxicity of normal adults’ CIK against tumor cells(MDA-MB-231,BE-1,PC-3)was significantly stronger than that of tumor patients; The disparity in cytoxic rate of the tumor patients’ CIK against tumor cells from different age groups was statistically significant(P 0.05).Conclusion:CIK amplification ability and cytotoxic activity in vitro are related to age;The proliferation ability and killing activity of normal human CIK in vitro is stronger than that of tumor patients.
