Abstract

Objective To investigate the value of X-ray mammography and MRI in the diagnosis of the breast cancer. Methods A total of 35 patients with breast cancer confirmed by surgery and pathology were reviewed retrospectively, including X-ray mammography and MR image features. Results The X-ray mammography findings included noodles (22 cases), lobulated (20 cases), burred (12 cases), calcification (6 cases), irregular invasiveness (13 cases), thickened skin (4 cases), enlarged lumph node (10 cases). The MRI findings of the lesion included skin thickened on T1WI, high signal on T2WI and significant enhanced. Conclusion There are certain characteristics for breast cancer on X-ray mammography and MRI, which can help make correct diagnosis for it. Key words: Breast cancer; X-ray mammography; Magnetic resonance imaging
