There is a positive correlation between the process of carbohydrate metabolism and flower bud shape differentiation among three varieties of lilies during their flower bud differentiation. The intensities of carbohydrate metabolism and the process of flower bud shape differentiation among the three varieties of lilies are, in sequence Cordelia, Snow Queen and Siberia.
