Abstract
We studied the changes of the physiological and biochemical indexes(chlorophyll contents, superoxide dismutase(SOD) activities, malondiadehyde(MDA) contents and proline contents)in leaves and roots of maize seedlings in Lai Nong 14 under environmental stresses(salt stress、drought stress、low and high temperature stress). The result showed maize seedlings of Lai Nong 14 have a strongest resistance to mild drought stress,a stronger resistance to hot stress, and it could be damaged easily by low temperature stress and salt stress among stresses.
