Abstract
Three-leaf-stage maize was treated with different drought stress levels,and six physiological and biochemical indexes including the contents of soluble protein,malondialdehyde(MDA) and free proline and the activities of superoxide dismutase(SOD),peroxidase(POD) and catalase(CAT) were measured after 24 and 48 hours.The results showed that with the increase of drought stress level and the extension of time,the contents of soluble protein,free proline and MDA increased,and the activities of SOD,POD and CAT also showed the increasing trend.
