Abstract

Objective To investigate the value of ultrasound in diagnosing the benign and malignant tumor. Methods The ultrasonography feature of the tumor was observed by two-dimensional ultrasound. The situation of blood stream of breast tumor was observed by using colorful Doppler and energy Doppler. The ultrasound diagnosis was compared with the pathology after surgery and then the accuracy of diagnosing breast tumor by ultrasound was evaluated. Results Pathology: Thirty-three cases are benign and thirty-five malignant. The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy were 85.7%,91.2%,91.5% respectively by combining high frequency 2D ultrasound and CDFI. Conclusions Ultrasound is of great value in diagnosing the benign and malignant tumor. It can be used as one of the best methods in identification of breast tumor.
