Abstract
This paper introduces a tank farm monitoring and control system based on short message service of GSM,to meet the need of automation management. The system, which makes LPC2119 as the core module, uses the pressure transmitter and temperature sensor to achieve real-time monitor and control the liquid level and detection on line.Short message service of GSM is used to transport data of the scene to the monitoring center transmission, and then the monitoring center deal with them and establish data files to achieve remote monitoring. The experimental results show that this system has the features of low management cost, high reliability and easy to operate.
