Abstract

Objective To evaluate the relationship between the ER,PR and P-gp with prognosis in NSCLC.Methods The S-P immunohistochemical techniques were used to test the expression levels of ER,PR and P-gp in NSCLC.Results The positive rates of ER and PR were 45.2% and 40.4%.The expression rates of ER and PR were both 64.7% in adenocarcinoma, which were apparently higher than that in other types of lung cancer tissues,P0.01.The positive rate of P-gp in NSCLC was 40.4%.In lung cancer the expressions of ER,PR and P-gp had no relationship with the patients' sex, age, clinical stage, degree of differentiation of tumor cells,P0.05.The non-tumor survival rate in the negitive expression of P-gp was higher than that in the positive expression,P0.01.There were obvious correlation between the expressions of P-gp and ER,PR in lung cancer,P0.05.Conclusions The expressions of ER and PR could not be taken as the reference indexes to judge the prognosis of patients' conditions.P-gp could be taken as a reference index to judge the clinical effect of the chemotherapy and make prognosis of patients with lung cancer. The expression of P-gp and those of ER and PR in lung cancer tissue were in a positive correlation.
