Analysis of Measles Supplemental Immunization Activity in Ziyang,2008

Abstract

Objective To analyze the measles supplemental immunization activity(SIA)in Ziyang,provide evidence to accelerate measles control and reach the goal of measles elimination.Method Descriptive analysis was conducted on the data of measles SIA.Result During the SIA,a total of 663 992 children aged from 8 months to 14 years were vaccinated,both the reported and estimated coverage rates were above 95%,the incidence of measles decreased dramatically after the measles SIA.Conclusion The goal of the measles SIA has been reached.
