Rethinking Profoundly the Reform of Geological Prospecting Industry

The paper first points out some problems involved in reform of prospecting industry, and then proposals some methods required for improving this situation, these are: ownership of mining rights should be fully returned to prospecting unit; fundamental way out for reform of prospecting industry lies in promoting integration of exploration and development; starting all over again from delegating powers and surrendering part of profits, and implementing production and operation autonomy of prospecting unit; changing geological exploration into the support fund for prospecting and mining development of state-owned exploration units; stopping formation of public team, and maintaining existing pattern.
