A few thinkers and artists of the late-Ming Dynasty advocated the theory of feelings only with the intention of seeking general meaning and everlasting value. It was initiated by LI Zhi, clarified by YUAN Hong-dao's aesthetic values, and followed by TANG Xianzu and FENG Meng-long after supernatural and internal feeling.
