Abstract
Objective To quantitatively analyze the efficacy of early intervention for fatty liver. Methods A total of 357 fatty liver patients who were detected upon physical examination in People's Hospital of Mei County were randomly divided into observation group( n = 179) and control group( n = 178). Control group was given conventional intervention, while observation group received individuated intervention. After the one- year intervention, waist circumference, body mass index, blood lipid and liver ultrasound indexes were re- examined and then compared between the two groups. Results Waist circumference, body mass index,TC,TG and LDL- C values in observation group were( 85. 27 ± 3. 41) cm,( 22. 14 ± 4. 71) kg / m2,( 5. 73 ± 0. 36) mmol / L,( 1. 71 ± 0. 31) mmol / L and( 2. 21 ± 0. 52) mmol / L respectively, which were all lower than those in control group. And the differences were statistically significant( P 0. 05). The thickness of the left lobe, the maximum oblique diameter of the right lobe, and the diameter of the main portal vein trunk( PVD) in observation group were( 6. 67 ± 1. 31) cm,( 12. 53 ± 1. 37) cm,and( 1. 16 ± 0. 21) cm respectively, which were all lower than those in control group. The maximum blood velocity( Vmax) value in portal veins of patients in observation group was( 16. 72 ± 2. 53) cm / s,which was higher than that in control group, and the differences were statistically significant( P 0. 05). There were 70 cure cases and 45 improving cases in observation group, which were significantly better than those in control group( P 0. 01). Conclusions Early intervention and treatment are effective in reducing the incidence rate of fatty liver and alleviating the progression of the disease. It is worthy of being promoted in clinical practice.
