Abstract
Trace bromate in drinking water was determined by ion chromatography with suppressed conductivity detector. To reduce effect of high concentration interference component on analysis result, chloride was disposed. Those results show when the concentration of bromate is from 5 ng/ml to 100 ng/ml,linear relationship of this method is very well and its regression coefficient is 0.999 9.Furthermore,quantitative limit of this method was 2 ng/mL when S/N was equal to 10,and recovery of it was lager than 91.6 %.After testing,it is proved that this method could be used to determine bromate content in any drinking water.
