Abstract
Objective:To develop a method for determination of bromate and bromide in bottled drinking water by free reagent ion chromatography with Large volume injection. Methods: The method was based on large volume injection and IC separation under the condition of gradient eluent with 10 mmol/L~35 mmol/L KOH generation on line and flow rate of 1.0 ml/min by using the IonPac AS19 analytical column and suppressed condutivity detector. Results:This method had good linear relatity in the range of 0 mg/L~0.10 mg/L and good analytic precision(RSD%3.0).The correlation coefficient was 0.9996 for bromate and 0.9992 for bromide. The recovery rate was 97.0%~104.5% for bromate and 92.0%~105.5% for bromide. The detection limit was 0.78 μg/L for bromate and 0.25 μg/L for bromide. Conclusion: This method is sensitive, rapid and simple. It is available to determine the bromate and bromide in bottled drinking water by free reagent ion chromatography.
