Reflections on Improving the Quality of English-only Teaching for International Students at Medical Colleges and Universities

English-only teaching of high quality meets the need to fit for the reality and developmental trend of current medical education and internationalization of medical talents.It is of great significance in promoting the efficiency and international level of school running as well as raising the core competition and international impact power of colleges and universities.The level of teacher supply,construction of teaching materials,teaching concept and teaching mode as well as the evaluation of teaching are the main factors which restrict and affect the quality of English-only teaching.This paper analyzes the compositions of these main factors and their conflicting relationship and proposes both the basic ideas and concrete measures to solve these problems.
