Abstract
The characters of macrobenthic community in the coastal water of Qingdao are approached based on the data collected from the 15 sampling stations using the multivariate analysis software PRIMER,CLUSTER and Abundance/Biomass curve(ABC) function part are adopted. The results show that 160 species were found in the area, including 93 species of Polychaeta,37 of Crostacea,16 of Mollusca, and 7 of Echinodermata; The dominant species are Sigambra bassi and Nereis longior. The results of CLUSTER analysis show that the structure of the macrobenthic communities in the 15 stations are very different, the value of their Bray-Curtis similarity varies in 10%~30%,with exception of those from the stations S2 and S4,S11,and S12 where value of their Bray-Curtis similarity are up to 30%.The results of the ABC analysis show that the macrobenthic community at the stations S1,and S15 was affected by pollution or other human beings activities.
