Abstract
The paper introduces the features and the importance of the soil and water conservation projects in natural gas pipelines for gas transmission from Sichuan to eastern areas,illustrates the features for the soil and water conservation of the pipe projects and the construction principle,the engineering measures,and the biological measures for the soil and water conservation by taking the geographical natural environment in Sichuan and Chongqing area and the southwestern of Hubei regions as the examples,and proves the feasibility and the maturity of the soil and water conservation construction technique by the acceptance results for the actual projects.
