On Exploration of Teaching Reform of University Physics in Materials Discipline

In this paper,the teaching reform has been discussed of university physics in materials discipline of Southwest University.Considering the personnel training characteristics of materials discipline,some deficiencies in teaching contents and teaching methods in university physics has been pointed out.And some proposals to optimize teaching contents and teaching methods have also been put forward.Practice shows that teaching reform can fully mobilize students' initiative to study,make students to realize the important position of university physics in the curriculum system,and improve teaching quality of college physics course.
