Comparative Study on the Gymnastics Curriculum System of PE Specialty of Normal Institutions in China and Japan

Based on the over ten-year gymnastics teaching experience in China and one-year gymnastics teaching experience in Japan,adopted the field observation,interview,documentary analysis,aiming to learn and introduce the advanced teaching ideas and teaching methods of different countries,with the combination of the current situation of the domestic gymnastics teaching,in the various perspectives,this study conducted the comparative research on the gymnastics specialty curriculum system of the normal colleges and universities in China and Japan.The main research content include teaching purpose,teaching planning,the content arrangement,teaching forms,teaching methods,evaluation system,and the cultivation of students' competence during the procedure of the teaching.Several suggestions were proposed in order to introduce the advanced experiences of the different countries,enhance the communication and development in the area of education between China and Japan,and provide the theoretical and practical references for improving the teaching quality of gymnastics teaching of PE major in China.
