Abstract
Objective To evaluate the transcranial Doppler(TCD) for the Examination of cerebral infarction in middle-aged and youth with the use of digital subtraction angiography(DSA).Methods One hundred patients were collected and examined by TCD and DSA.Results One thousand eight hundred and twenty six cerebral vessels were examined. On the standard of DSA,the sensitivity of the transcranial Doppler(TCD) examination for arterial stenosis was 85.8%,the specificity was 96.9%,false-positive was 8.0%,false-negative was 3.1%.Conclusion For the diagnosis of arterial stenosis in intracranial vessels and extracranial vessels, the specificity and sensitivity of TCD would be relatively reliable,it is valuable for the clinical screening and the earlier diagnosis of cerebral infarction in middle-aged and youth.
