Abstract
The four belt designs with different angles of radial car tire are analysed by a FEA software with the emphasis on the effect of the belt angle on the tire deformation,the strain energy density,normal stress and shearing stress of belt and crown ply.The effect of the belt angle on the irregular wear of tire and the mechanism of the irregular wear are also discussed.
