Abstract
Objective To study the curative effect and the safety of magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate in treatment of patients with chronic hepatitis B.Methods Totally 43 patients with chronic hepatitis B were randomly divided into two groups. The treatment group was treated with magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate for 4 weeks, the control group was treated with diammonium glycyrrhizinate.Symptoms, signs, liver function and harmful trends in two groups before and after treatment were compared. Results After treatment, all the serum levels of ALT,AST,TBil and DBil in two groups decreased significantly(P0.01 or P0.05),and those in the treatment treated group decreased significantly than those in the control group(P0.01).The whole effective rate in the group were higher significantly than those in the control group(P0.01),and the harmful trends in the treatment group were lower significantly than those in the control group(P0.01).Conclusions Mgnesium isoglycyrrhizinate is a highly curative effect and safety therapeutic agent for patients with chronic hepatitis B,and is favorably recommended for clinical use.
