Abstract
Objective To research and analyze the constitutes of the genome of Schistosoma japonicum, and get those genes that be worth researching in future. Methods Selected single recombined clones stochastically and got sequences, namely expressed sequence tags(EST) from cDNA library of Schistosoma japonicum(Chinese strain); logged on the homepage of NCBI, then identified and analyzed the EST utilizing the procedure of BLAST and database of Genebank offered by NCBI; exercised the method of the Electronic-cDNA Cloning, elongated the sequences in order to learn more meritorious information, and analyzed the sequences elongated. Results Picked out 182 sole random clones and got 53 valuable EST that logged on the Genebank from cDNA library of Schistosoma japonicum(Chinese strain); on the other hand, obtained 44 sequences that had elongated and analyzed. Conclusions It can make the groundwork for the research of the functional genes for us to combine the sequencing, comparing of EST and the system of electronic-cDNA cloning.
