Abstract

Comprehensive evaluation on trace elements of several shrimps captured and cultured in Zhanjiang was finished by the principal component analysis method. The result indicated that the trace element contents of shrimps were balanced; The rank of integrative principal from 1 to 4 was wild Penaeus monodon Fabricius, wild Litopenaeus vannamei, cultured Penaeus monodon Fabricius, and cultured Litopenaeus vannamei, and the rank of the two wild shrimps was higher than that of the two cultured ones;Integrative score of Penaeus monodon Fabricius captured from the ocean was 1.67081 with the best equilibrium of trace element contents,so the shrimp was the most nutritious. The shrimp of the lowest nutrient is cultured Litopenaeus vannamei, with its integrative score-1.20943.
