Abstract
The No.3 boiler in Yaomeng Power Plant comes with Hood rotary type air preheater,since operation,the air leakage rate of air preheater is rather high,it influences the boiler efficiency and the safe operation.After the extensive study and discussion,Hood rotary type air preheater is transformed into Ljungstrom Regenerative Air Heater.The structure and the parameters of the transformed air preheater are displayed in this paper,problems and experience during the process of installation are also explained,the economy of the air preheater before and after transformation are compared,which offers a reference to the transformation of the air preheater in the same type.
