Abstract
One of the essential characteristics of economic development is the constantly gradual progress of the industrial structure from simple pattern to the complicated pattern, and from the elementary pattern to the advanced pattern. On the basis of carrying out the overall analysis on the relationship between the industrial structure and the economic development, this paper analyzes quantitatively the effects of the industrial structure change to the regional economic growth in Xinjiang, and some important conclusions are obtained: (1) The structure factors are the important economic growth sources, and the differences of regional industrial structure can directly lead to the differences of speed and quality of the regional economic growth; (2) The rationalization level and the advanced level of the regional industrial structure affect greatly on the regional economic development; (3) In order to dig up all the regional potentialities and push forward the different regions to form the characteristic preponderant industries, peculiar industrial structure and regional characteristic economy, the governments in Xinjiang should fully apply the industrial policies and the regional policies to strengthen the macroscopic guidance in the regional industrial division and the industrial coordinate development.
