Abstract

The paper researches problem and solving method about GIS higher education based on comparison between national and international actuality.It discusses seven problems on handicapping GIS development that is GIS curriculum setting,GIS curriculum keystone,strength of GIS teachers,condition of GIS practice and ardor of student learning GIS,etc.It also proposes some methods that can solve these problems,such as recruit student scale,enhancing GIS basic theory and method,reformation of GIS curriculum,university union,adopting agility teaching mode.
