The Clinical Values of Multi-slice Spiral CT Angiography in Diagnosis of Aortic Aneurysm

Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the clinical values of multi-slice spiral CT angiography in diagnosis of aortic aneurysm.Methods:CT angiography were performed in 9 patients with aortic aneurysm.The data of all patients were reconstructed with the 3D technique including multiple plane reformation(MPR),maximum intensity projection(MIP) and volume rending(VR).Results:9 cases included 6 cases with aortic aneurysms,2 with aortic dissection and 1 with bracket in sertion.The anatomical characters and the relationship between aneurysm and adjacent organs could be visualized clearly and directly by the reconstructed images combined with the original images.Conclusion:MSCT is predominant in diagnosis,classification and typing of aortic aneurysm,it plays important role in selecting curative methods and observing efficacy.
