Abstract
Objective To explore the optimal dosage of nimodipine on preventing and curing cerebral vasospasm after subarachnoid hemorrhage(SAH).Mehtods 60 patients with primarily SAH were treated with 4 defferent dosages of nimodipine(2,1,0.5,0.2 mg/h;SAH1,SAH2,SAH3,SAH4 group) respectively.At 1,3,7,10,14 d after SAH,the blood flow velocities(BFV) of middle cerebral artery(MCA) were monitored by transcranial Doppler(TCD).The endothelin-1(ET-1) and NO were observed.Results Compared with the SAH1 and SAH2 group,the level of ET-1 in plasma and CSF of SAH3 and SAH4 group increased significanthy,while the level of NO and Vm of MCA decreased.Conclusion 1 mg/h of nimodipine is the optimal dosage on preventing CVS.
