Abstract

Firstly,the criteria system for appraising urban comprehensive competitiveness is proposed and the competitiveness of 15 cities in the Yangtze River Delta is obtained by applying quantitative method and model PCA (principal components analysis). Then the new regional comparative advantages of this area is analyzed,Finally,the major countermeasures for bringing the regional advantages into full play and raising the competitiveness of regional entirety are suggested.
