Abstract

The legend of Dragon Mother,closely related to people's worship of Dragon Mother,is widely accepted by the people in Guangdong,Hong Kong and Macao.Such worship has undergone a change from totem worship to water god worship and ancestral worship,the foundation of which is the people's worship for their ancestors and consciousness of seeking roots.Therefore,the legend and worship of Dragon Mother is of great significance for the cultural identity and psychological unity of Guangdong,Hong Kong and Macao.
