Abstract
Static CCT curves for two kinds of TRIP steels with different Al and Si contents were obtained by means of dilatometry and microstructures. One TRIP steel contains 1.5 % w(Al),and another contains 1.0 % w(Al)+0.5 % w(Si).The phase transformation of the two TRIP steels was studied experimentally with the addition of Al in TRIP steel during cooling. The influence of cooling rate and the amount of Al in TRIP steel on the microstructures and the kinetics of bainite transformation were analyzed as well. The results show that with the addition of Al in TRIP steel,it accelerates the start of ferrite transformation and bainite transformation and delays the pearlite transformation.
