Abstract
The transformation of C-Si-Mn TRIP steel during continuous cooling in two static conditions was studied by dilatometry. The effects of cooling rate and austenitizing process on the microstructure were analyzed. The ferrite transformed when the cooling rate was below 15℃/s,bainite transformed when the cooling rate increased.Ferrite transformation region in static CCT curves of simutating TSCR(thin slab casting and rolling) process was lower than that of national standard, and bainite transformation region was wider, bainite transformation starting temperature was similar, bainite transformation finish temperature was lower.
