Research on Land Eco-economical Regionalization in Hengxian County of Guangxi

Principles,framework of indices that serves to land eco-economical regionalization were discussed in Hengxian county,an area of hilly-basin in the southeast of Guangxi. The spatial database of a land eco-economical system that includes information of natural ecology,land resources and social economical conditions was established using Geographic Information System (GIS). With the support of SPSS software,forty factors derived from the spatial database were selected to clusteringly analyze for twenty-one villages or towns in the research region. Thus,the research region was divided into four types region,eight land eco-economical zones. The characteristics of every land eco-economical zone are analyzed thoroughly,hence some rational advices about sustainable utilization of land resources and the targets of ecological construction were brought forward.
