Abstract
Principles and indices for land eco-economic regionalization in Hengxian,a hilly county in southeast Guangxi are discussed. The spatial database of a land eco-economic system that includes information of natural ecology, land resources and socio-economic conditions is established by using Geographic Information System (GIS). With the support of SPSS software, forty factors derived from the spatial database are selected for cluster analysis for twenty-one villages or towns in the studied region. The region is divided into four types and eight subtypes of land eco-economic zones. The characteristics of every land eco-economic zone are analyzed thoroughly, hence some suggestions about sustainable utilization of land resources and the targets of ecological construction are brought forward.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
