Abstract
The dispersion performances of some dispersants in SiC whiskers water based suspension are inves tigated by centrifugal sedimentation spectrophotometric measurement.The dispersion effect of those dispersants is dis cussed and their dispersion mechanisms are studied.The results show that the dispersion ability of the dispersants studied is in the order of SPPSHPTween80PEG.And the composite dispersants are more effective than single dispersants in dispersion of SiC whiskers.
