Abstract

The dispersion behavior of SiC ultrafine powders in water media and influence of different dispersant on their dispersion actions under different conditions were studied. The results show that the dispersion actions of ultrasonic on SiC ultrafine powders at water is very evident. Different dispersant shows different extent of dispersion actions on SiC ultrafine powders. The dispersion effect of the dispersant methylic ammonium hydroxide on SiC ultrafine powders is the strongest.
