On the Themes of Frontier Fortress Poems of the Tang Dynasty

Abstract

Influenced by different opinions of the nature of frontier wars in the Tang Dynasty, people have different comments all the time on the theme value of the frontier fortress poems of the Tang Dynasty. Because the frontier fortress poems are the lyric produced under the conditions of the specific social reality, it is reasonable that the theme value of the frontier fortress poems are regarded as the poets concerning about national affairs, the reality and their own destiny.
